Neurologic rehab and limb loss care in Bethesda, MD

We treat spasticity after stroke or brain injury, amputation and prosthetic rehabilitation, and phantom and residual limb pain.

What causes neurologic rehab and limb loss?

Spasticity can make limbs stiff, painful, and hard to use. Targeted botulinum toxin and chemoneurolysis, guided by ultrasound and nerve stimulation, relax specific overactive muscles.

After limb loss, pain in the missing limb or around the residual limb is common and treatable with nerve-focused procedures, medications, and therapy.

When to see an orthopedic doctor for neurologic rehab and limb loss

  • Pain in a missing limb or around a residual limb
  • Trouble with prosthetic fit or skin breakdown
